• Have you participated before?

None of us have participated in an offshore regatta before. 

• Why are you participating in Fully Crewed class?

We are a group of friends who occasionally take on things we don't really know how to do. Turning 40 felt like the perfect excuse, and it happens to match nicely with the 40th Shetland Race. 

• What are your expectations to sail during nighttime, midsummer?

Weather dependent, memorable in some way or another, I hope the nights are bright and short.  

• How did you get to know about Bergen Shetland Race?

I`ve heard stories from previous participants, some of them slightly terrifying. But I`ve also heard rumors about a pub somewhere in Leirvik, so it balances it out.  

• Planning any activities during the stay?

Planning on finding the pub.
