• Have you participated before?

We participated in 2025 with Swiftwing.

• What is your best memory from Shetland Race?

The best memory from the race was the return leg after we had fuel trouble before the start. We finally got going and managed to catch up with a lot of the fleet. 

• Why are you participating in Fully Crewed class?

We are going fully crewed because we all enjoyed the race last year but also in the bad weather with two it would have been a lot harder.

• What are your expectations to sail during nighttime, midsummer?

We are from Shetland so the nighttime/midsummer is what we are used to in the summer. Looking forward to some good weather and nice sailing in the almost constant daylight. 

• How did you get to know about Bergen Shetland Race?

From another competitor friend “Raindeer” we met racing our boats last year to the Isle of Man.  

• Planning any activities during the stay (in Bergen)?

We will be doing one leg this year so when we get to Shetland we will hopefully get to meet a lot of the other sailors and have a good beer with them.

• Do you want to challenge anyone to participate in this year’s race?

We are having a race over from Inverness before we get to Bergen with two other boats so hopefully get some good practice in.
