Have you participated before?
- Yes. As crew on Cognaquelone in 2011, and as skipper on Isbjørn in 2023 and in 2024.

What is your best memory from Shetland Race?
- Tough to choose only one! Probably the gorgeous spinnaker run we had back from Shetland in 2024, being the first boat in our class across the finish line. 2011 was also amazing, sailing without a working GPS and winning our class navigating on dead reckoning alone. 

Why are you participating in Fully Crewed class?
- I have a big boat and a big crew, and I'd like to share the fun!

What are your expectations to sail during nighttime, midsummer?
- 24 hours of daylight is a great advantage, increasing visibility and morale. 

How did you get to know about Bergen Shetland Race?

From my dad, who also sailed the Shetland Race.

Planning any activities during the stay?
Really hope the Scalloway Museum will be open this year! Such a great way to learn about the history of the place.
